Life form: weedy, creeping annual < 40 cm high
Distribution: native to Australia (exotic to Japan, firstly reported from Kobe in 1933)

Category A3 in Hokkaido Blue List 2010, firstly recorded from Hokkaido in 1978
An invasive weed to crop fields, in particular, in Kanto District

Habitat: disturbed habitats, e.g., roadsdies, dunes, and arable lands
