Ookijinoo (オオキジノオ, 大雉尾)
Lifeform: evergreen perennial fern with 40-100 cm in height
Distribution: Himalaya - Philippines - Japan (south to Kanto District)
Habitat: mesic forest floor
Leaf: dimorphic (vegetative and reproductive leaves)
Putative hybrids:
P. × neointermedia Nakaike (ハガクレキジノオ) = P. euphlebia × adnata (Blume) Bedd. (タカサゴキジノオ), south to Tokai District
P. × sessilifolia Nakaike (フタツキジノオ) = P. euphlebia × japonica Nakai (キジノオシダ), south to Izu Peninsula
