Ooshiroyanagi (オオシロヤナギ, 大白柳)
Lifeform: deciduous tree < 10 m tall
Distribution: endemic to Japan (south to Honshu)
Habitat: lowlands
Reproduction: dioecious (male has not been found → vegetative reproduction = sprouting) Seed dispersal: wind
