Life form: evergreen tall tree (常緑高木)
Distribution: China - Taiwan - southen Japan (the northern limit = Miyagi Prefecture)

The northern limit in Japan = Niigata / Miyagi

Habitat: secondary forests such as coppice forests
Seed dispersal: gravity or cache
